The Severn Group, a leading HVAC commercial contractor in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, has acquired a new headquarters building in Upper Marlboro. The company paid $3.1 million for the 41,126 square foot flex property located at 375 Prince Georges Blvd. The asset comes equipped with fenced outdoor parking/storage, 18′ clear ceiling heights and three loading docks with oversized drive-ins. Included in the purchase are two existing rent-paying Tenants, including Verizon. Prior to the purchase, Severn Group had been operating out of 4 different warehouse locations in Maryland and Northern Virginia. Murphy Commercial represented The Severn Group with their property search, site selection and contract negotiations for the acquisition.
