Shandong Linglong started construction on a tire factory in Zrenjanin, northern Serbia. The Chinese company is planning to invest €800m into the project. The 500,000 sqm factory is expected to manufacture 13 million tires annually and will employ 1,200 people. Construction will be broken into three stages, with completion planned for March 2025. Shandong Linglong will also invest in surrounding infrastructure.
