A new Sheraton Hotel will be built along the Croatian shoreline through the renovation of an old hotel in Opatija. Hotel Belvedere, which is located along the Lungomare promenade, is to become a 5-star hotel through an investment due for completion in the summer of 2018. The new hotel will become part of the international Sheraton franchise, according to a contract signed with Marriott. The hotel will have 195 rooms along with underground parking, a wellness center, an indoor and outdoor pool, three restaurants and a bar. The value of the investment is around €20m.
