Shinhan Investment acquires Florenc Office Center in Prague

Mint Investments has completed the acquisition of the Florenc Office Center for the South Korean financial group Shinhan Investment Corportation. Mint, which advised the buyer and coordinated the sale process, and will be taking over the asset management and management of the building. Senior financing was handled by Helaba, while White & Case and Cushman & Wakefield handled the legal and commercial consulting. CBRE represented the vendor, ZFP Investments, in the transaction while TPA consulted on taxation issues.

The building, which has been KPMG’s headquarters since 2003, offers 11,000 sqm of GLA and 170 parking spots. Sebastien Dejanovski, a partner at Mint Investments, said that while a number of Korean investors have looking to make acquisitions for some time in Prague, “this is the first time a Korean investor has managed to successful complete a transaction.”
