Siemens Romania opened a new regional research and development center in Cluj-Napoca. The center, opened under the company’s Evosoft brand, covers 3,000 sqm and fully occupies one of the buildings at Liberty Technology Park Cluj. The investment totaled €4.5m, which includes rent for the next five years as well as initial planning and infrastructure costs.
The Cluj-Napoca facility is the fourth Evosoft center in the region, following openings in Germany, Hungary and Turkey. Siemens has four factories in Sibiu and Buziaş and four IT and Energy R&D centers in Bucharest, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca
