SIIX Corporation to establish new plant in Hungary

SIIX Corporation, the Japanese electronic components manufacturer, is planning to invest HUF 6.4bn to build a plant in Nagykőrös near Budapest. A non-refundable HUF 1.3bn government grant will supplement project costs. SIIX will produce electronic parts for industrial machinery, automotive products and household machinery at its new 16,800 sqm plant, with a special focus on fulfilling the outsourcing and logistics needs of its European partners. The investment is expected to create 300 new jobs. The project is set for completion at the third quarter of 2017.
