Sika has added a mortar facility and a warehouse for raw materials and end-products to its production facility in Serbia. The plant, which is located near Belgrade in the village of Simanovci, has been continuously expanded in recent years to keep pace with the region’s growing construction sector. The Swiss company produces special chemicals used for construction. The plant also acts as a regional production hub for Sika’s national subsidiaries in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Bulgaria.
