The Silesian Voivodeship has already received PLN 13.5bn as part of the Anti-Crisis Shield, the Financial Shield of the Polish Development Fund and the Aid Shield of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The region ranks second among all the voivodeships in terms of the amount of anti-crisis support received from the Polish government. The total value of payments that have already been made under the Anti-Crisis Shield, the Financial Shield of the Polish Development Fund and the Aid Shield of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego amounted to PLN 113bn, according to premier.gov.pl.
