Democrat Liberal Party (PDL) candidate for mayor of Bucharest is Silviu Prigoana, announced Elena Udrea, president of PDL Bucharest.
Udrea said Prigoana has a good chance to win the election, adding that he’s a “family man”. She also said that Liviu Negoita will run for another term as Sector 3 mayor and Teodor Paleologu will run in Sector 1. On the other hand,
Cristian Preda has been put forward by the PDL to run for mayor of District 4. This comes after the current mayor Cristian Popescu has defected from his party to join the Social-Liberal Union.
