Simit Sarayi is planning to open a store in Ljubljana next month. This will be the Turkish bakery’s first location in Slovenia. The shop will open in a space that previously housed BackWerk. Simit Sarayi was established in 2002 in Istanbul. In 2010, the company opened its first franchise in the Netherlands before expanding globally. It currently operates in 22 countries, including the US, the UK and the United Arab Emirates.
