Romanian professional tennis player Simona Halep bought a four-star hotel in Brasov’s Poiana neighborhood for around €2m, according to romaniajournal.ro. The area is a popular ski resort, attracting tourists from around Romania as well as Italy, France and Germany. The hotel has 24 rooms, a conference room, a restaurant and a ski rental center, which is located at the entrance of the resort. Halep also invested into the development of a six-floor apartment building in Constanta. Half of the apartments have already been sold.
