Skanska has acquired land in the center of Gdańsk on Grunwaldzka street with plans to develop 42,000 sqm of new office space. Located next to the University of Gdańsk, the project is scheduled for completion in 2019. Skanska’s regional director Łukasz Kaleciński said the company’s debut in the city aims to take advantage of the growing BPO sector, which is now looking for high-skilled labor outside Poland’s prime locations.
According to Skanska, the BPO sector in TriCity grew 40 percent last year, making it the location the fastest-growing BPO/SSC destination in the country.
