Skanska is offloading part of its operations in the Czech Republic. The construction company has put two divisions of its concrete business – Prefa and Speciální zakládání – up for sale. Skanska’s spokeswoman, Lucie Laňková, told the server e15 that these two businesses were not a priority for Skanska, and the sale is due to the market situation. Prefa is involved in ferro-concrete construction. Its facilities are located in Uhříněves, Štětí, Tovačov and Třinec. Goldbeck leads this market sector in the Czech Republic, followed by smaller Czech businesses.
