3 January 2013

Skanska offloaded two office projects in Warsaw and Wrocław last month. The developer sold its Green Corner project in Warsaw for around €94.6m to two RREEF property funds. The project includes two office facilities, Green Corner and NORDEA HOUSE, offering a total of 27,000 sqm of space. The project is currently 95 percent leased, with NORDEA Bank taking 7,900 sqm. The deal will be booked in Skanska’s 2012 fourth-quarter report. Green Corner was completed this year in the city’s Wola business district.
Skanska also sold its fully let Green Towers project in Wrocław for €64m. The name of the buyer was agreed to be kept confidential at this stage. Once the second phase of the project is completed, the project will offer a total of 23,300 sqm of space. The list of tenant includes Ernst & Young, Grupa Allegro, Dolby, BD Europe and Medicover Group. Colliers International is the exclusive agent for both properties.
Skanska is now focusing on its Atrium 1 project, underway in Warsaw. The project is expected to add 18,000 of new offices to the regional market.
