Skanska plans to start construction on a new residential project called Terasy Strašnice in Prague 10. While construction is not set to get underway until the second quarter, sales started in March. Naďa Ptáčková, general director of Skanska Reality, says that just 65 units of the total 139 units planned are still available. “We were pleased by the extremely strong interest,” she says. “We were surprised that there were six or seven bookings for some of the units.”
The project will feature five apartment buildings connected by an underground parking garage. It will offer 139 flats ranging from one room on 32 sqm to five rooms on 120 sqm, with terraces and balconies. The project also includes a 252 sqm commercial space for shops and services. Prices range from CZK 62,500 to 86,700 per sqm. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.
