Skanska is planning to develop a new office scheme in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, Nowa Warszawa website reported this week. Located at the corner of Sobieskiego, Idzikowskiego and Witosa streets, the plot has proved troublesome to developers for nearly 20 years. Skanska took over the property from Tarus Holding Polska, which had hired Kataharsis Development to develop an office project (V Point) in 2014. Before that were plans to build a project called Plac Europa project on the site, but preparations stopped before the project even broke ground. Skanska says it has all the necessary permits in place to start the construction but is waiting for first pre-leases to be signed.
