Škoda Auto opened a new environment-friendly moulding assembly line in Mladá Boleslav. The new line will produce car parts for Škoda Octavie, Rapid as well as several future models. The €66m investment will make operations simpler and more flexible. Its production capacity is 4.4 units per year. Škoda Auto is planning to launch eight new car models in 2013. Similar lines are planned for Audi production complex in Gyor, Hungary and the Volkswagen facility outside Bratislava, Slovakia.
