Sky Plaza in Miami wins key FAA approval

2 February 2016

The FAA has approved the height of the towers for the Sky Plaza site in downtown Miami. Located at 251 E Flagler Street, plans call for one of the towers to reach 1,001 feet above ground, or 1,010 feet above sea level and the second tower to top off at 837 feet above ground, or 846 feet above sea level. The property is zoned T6-80, which is the city’s highest density mixed-use code, which will allow it to be built up to 80 stories with 2.4 million square feet. The owners of the site submitted plans for the towers as part of an effort to sell the property.
