Orange County commissioners have given the green light to Wallack Holdings LLC to build the $500 million Skyplex entertainment complex. The project will be located in the heart of the tourist district in Orlando at the intersection of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road. The plans call for the world’s tallest (501 feet) Skyscraper roller coaster, the 450 foot Skyfall drop tower, a 600-foot Skyfly zip line, the Skysurf park and a 350-room hotel. The attractions would all be built in and around the SkyPlaza retail, entertainment and dining center.
