Slavia Capital bids for Czech oil reserves in Germany

The Slovak investment group Slavia Capital is bidding in a tender to buy the fuel storage facility owned by the bankrupt German company Viktoriagruppe, which holds Czechia’s state strategic oil reserves. The company is interested in reservoirs in Chlumec nad Cidlinou and in Krailing in Germany, where the Czech state stores 80 million liters oil worth €44.4m. Also bidding in the tender are Fau, a company based in Přerov, and the city of Krailing. The bankruptcy manager of Viktoriagruppe Mirko Mollen is currently evaluating the bids, according to the server Lidovky.cz. Slavia Capital owns storage and distribution area in Trebišov. In the Czech Republic, it was involved in the sale of Škoda Plzeň to Appian group.
