Slavija Lux Hotel in Belgrade sold for €6.5m

Slavija Lux Hotel, one of 3 hotels at the Slavija complex in Belgrade, was sold at auction for €6.5m to Mat Real Estate. The new owner is the Serbian businessman, Petar Matijevic. Matijevic has already secured building permits for the construction of a four-star lux hotel in central Belgrade, next Republic square. This hotel is expected to open this July or August. He bought this facility in 2016 and paid €7.3m. Known as Serbia’s meat king, Matijevic owns the company that bears his name and is one of the biggest producers of meat products in the country.
