Slovak construction output has fallen for nine consecutive months, according to the latest figures published by Statistic Office SR. In November, output fell 11.1 percent y-o-y to €490.8m. Between January and November, the construction volume decreased by 9.8 percent y-o-y, totaling €4.42bn, according to the data. Production by private businesses dropped 11.1 percent to €468m, accounting for 95.4 percent of the total output. New construction, including modernizations and reconstructions, fell 15.2 percent to €323.6m. Repairs and maintenance works dropped 3.3 percent to €136.5m. Infrastructure construction dropped 9.1 percent, while building was down by 1.2 percent.
