The Slovak government has signed an agreement with US based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies about a futuristic transport project called Hyperloop. The ultra-fast train would connect Bratislava to Vienna in 8 minutes. The owner of the Californian company, the billionaire Elon Musk, is reportedly exploring the possibility of connecting Bratislava to Vienna, to Budapest and Prague as well. Hyperloop trains would cruise through an elevated tube with thinned air, allegedly enabling speeds of up to 1,200 km per hour.
