Slovak industrial prices fall in June

The Slovak Statistics Office is reporting that producer prices fell in June, continuing a fall that began in May. The industrial sector saw production prices slip 3.4 percent in June 2014 compared to the same month a year ago. In May, the year-on-year fall was 3.3 percent. However, they fell just 0.3 percent in June compared to the previous month, while domestic market prices rose for the second consecutive month by the smallest of margins: 0.1 percent. Export prices fell 0.6 percent month-on-month.
