The National football stadium in Bratislava is scheduled for completion in 2018. The 22,500 seat stadium has finally been given government approval, now that education minister Peter Plavčan and Pavel Komorník, the chairman of the National Football Stadium corporation signed a preliminary contract under which the state will complete and take over the non-commercial portion of the project. The new schedule is based on a project and legal analysis secured by the ministry. The stadium is scheduled to receive its use permit by December 31, 2018.
