Slovak Railways (ŽSR) canceled its agreement with Transprojekt to revitalize the main railway station in Bratislava as well as Predstaničné Square. The agreement, under which the developer would lease the site needed for the realization of the project, called Predstanicný priestor-Bratislava, was signed in July 2006 for 50 years. ŽSR says it canceled the contract because Transprojekt failed to sign up with the Register of Public Sector Partners. ŽSR intends to complete the rail station’s the revitalization, which it started working on it July.
