Slovak state to sell off Bratislava center building

14 January 2016

The Slovak finance ministry is to sell an unused building owned by the state in the center of Bratislava. The building, located between Jozefska street and Namestie Slobody, will be sold in an electronic auction, with bids due by the end of February. The price has been estimated to be in the vicinity of €228,800, for a location zoned for residential and services. With demand for flats and prices soaring, Trend Reality speculates that the new owner might want to tear down the existing building to build a new residential project on the 258 sqm site. The site is across the street from Proxenta’s Weinhauer 28-unit residential scheme. Weinhauer is scheduled for completion in autumn 2016.
