Slovenia has borrowed another EUR 2 billion on the international market

Slovenia has issued EUR 1.75 billion in new ten-year bonds. The demand for this bond reached EUR 10.6 billio, and the interest rate reached 17 basis points above the average value of the ten-year interest rate swap, which is -0.27 percent, according to Bloomberg.

At the same time, Slovenia sold EUR 250 million of additional debt securities from the already existing issue of 30-year bonds maturing in 2050. Demand reached EUR 250 million, and the interest rate was 40 basis points above the average value of the 30-year interest rate swap, which amounts to -0.02 percent. This means that Slovenia borrowed at a rate of 0.38 percent. Slovenia last borrowed on the international market in mid-October last year.
