Slovenia’s consumer prices grew by 11.0 percent year-on-year in July, after rising by 10.4 percent in June, according to country’s statistical office.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices went up by 1.0 percent in July, after growing 2.7 percent in June.
The largest impact on annual inflation, 2.1 percentage points (pps), came from higher prices of petroleum products, while 2 pps was added by 13.5 percent higher prices of food. Electricity prices increased by 30.4 percent and added 1.1 pps to annual inflation.
The annual inflation was offset by 0.1 pp by 5.4 percent cheaper services of mobile telecommunications.
