The Slovenian government withdrew its decision to open its borders with Austria and reintroduced restrictions on the entry of EU citizens, with whom the country has no bilateral agreement. The head of the Border Police Department Melita Mocnik said that Austrian citizens who do not have a residence in Slovenia, do not own real estate or are not in transit must have a special reason to enter the country. At the end of last week, Slovenia declared the end of the coronavirus epidemic and announced that it would be opening of its borders. The decision proved to be short-lived.
