CBRE Group has hired 30-year commercial real estate veteran Chris Smiles to its South Florida multifamily investment team as senior vice president. Smiles started his career with Trammell Crow Residential Services in South Florida. Following its acquisition by Gables Residential he was managing director at Waypoint Residential for three years and later joined Woolbright Development as president of the multifamily initiative, where he spearheaded the company’s entrance into the multifamily investment sector. Smiles is a graduated from Brown University.
