Ludwik Sobolewski was abruptly fired as the president of the Warsaw Stock Exchange today, after being accused of bribing WSE-listed companies to sponsor a movie his girlfriend is starring in. Adam Maciejewski was named new chief for the Polish bourse.
Maciejewski has been working at the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2004, initially as the director of the trading and market development department. He was promoted to board member in 2006.
