The extension of Sofia’s metro line 2 is set to start before the end of the month, according to the city’s mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
The 1.3 km extension will stretch from the James Bourchier metro station to the intersection of Cherni vrah and Henrik Ibsen boulevards and Srebarna street. Once completed the Bulgarian capital’s metro system will cover 40 km of tracks and 35 stations.
