Elitsa Panayotova has resigned as executive director of Sofia Tech Park, four years before her contract was set to expire. Her resignation follows the appointment of a second executive officer, according to news reports. Panayotova previously served as CEO of Alfa Development and was the general manager of Business Park Sofia before agreeing to head Sofia Tech Park in 2012.
Sofia Tech Park was established with the financial support of the Bulgarian government and the European Regional Development Fund. It is operated by Sofia Tech Park JSC, a state-owned company.
