The Sonae Tech Hub, the most recent office building on the Sonae Campus in Maia, has been issued with a Platinum-level LEED certificate. The building collected 89 points, the highest score for any building in Portugal to date. The project represents an investment of around €11 million. The Sonae Tech Hub has a gross leasable area of more than 6,900 square meters spread over four floors. It offers both individual work areas and open space, as well as spaces for brainstorming and collaboration, meeting rooms, and leisure equipment. The parking garage is equipped with electric charging stations. The building has a total of 570 sqm of solar panels and is lit with LED technology, including automatic regulation depending on the outside light.
