The Bulgarian drug producer Sopharma is making plans to build a new production plant in country’s capital. In a company report, it claims it will be investing more than €15 million into the work which is set to begin before June. The company’s profits in 2017 fell around 15 percent from the year before when it recorded profits of €28 million, but those results were due to profitable, one-time financial transactions. Sopharma produced more than BGN 1bn in revenues in 2017 which marked an increase of nearly 16 percent.
