Six start-ups were chosen for the Prague’s space industries incubator ESA BIC: Festka, NG Aviation, Triphood, TuddyTuddy, Big Terra and InsightART. Their projects, using space technologies, were assessed by a jury featuring partners from the Czech Republic as well as the European Space Agency. The start-ups will be able to tap up to €50,000 to finance development and marketing of their products over the next two years while working in the space incubator in Prague. Prague is co-financing the project in partnership with the ESA and plans to invest CZK 45m into it. The incubator is based in Adria Palace in central Prague. ESA BIC Prague plans to support up to 25 start-ups over the next five years. The CzechInvest agency, the Ministries of Transport and of Industry and Trade, along with Komerční banka are partners of ESA BIC Prague.
