The price of hotels and other accommodations increased by 17.7 percent during the first seven months of this year, according to Spain’s National Institute of Statistics. On the other hand, those prices in those establishments were 2.4 percent lower in July compared with the same month in 2015. It was a dramatic collapse after rising 3.7 percent y-o-y in June. Prices for air transport, on the other hand, decreased by 3.8 percent in July compared with the same month a year ago. The price of road transport rose 0.4 percent, while railway transports costs went up 0.3 percent in July 2016, compared to to July 2015.
