Speedwell enters industrial market and plans to double its portfolio

Speedwell currently has over 60,000 sq m of offices and close to 2,000 apartments under development in Bucharest, Cluj and Timisoara, the company announced during CEDER 2021.

The developer also announced that it plans to venture into a sub-segment of the industrial market. “We have high hopes for the future of Romania. We currently have a portfolio of around 400 million euro, which we intend to double in the next two-three years,” said Didier Balcaen, Speedwell CEO.

Record Park, Speedwell’s project in Cluj, is a mixed-use development comprising of over 200 apartments, 12,000 sqm of office area, retail facilities, a World Class gym and green area.

In Bucharest, Speedwell is developing The Ivy, a residential project in the north of the city, with the first two buildings of 228 apartments to be delivered in 2022. A few steps away from The Ivy is MIRO, an office building of 22,850 sq m under development.
