Speedwell is preparing to start work on the Paltim project in Timisoara. The company bought the 15,430 sqm parcel of land on the banks of the Bega River last year. The site used to house the Paltim hat factory. Speedwell recently secured a permit to demolish the existing buildings. Work on the new project is scheduled to begin this month. Paltim is a mixed-use urban regeneration project, which will include residential buildings with 287 premium apartments, 13,000 sqm of office space and 2,000 sqm for retail and service space. The investment amounts to about €45m. Speedwell will work with Imoteca to sell the apartments, while Griffes will oversee leasing the office space.
