Fort Lauderdale-based Gulf Building has hired Eric Squilla as the firm’s new vice president. Squilla has over 22 years of construction experience and has spent his entire career building throughout South Florida. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management and is a licensed general contractor in the state of Florida. “Squilla adds another level to our expansion plans by supporting business development opportunities and his ability to manage large-scale projects in the educational, governmental, and private development sectors,”said John Scherer, President and CEO, Gulf Building LLC.
