Starbucks is opening its second coffee shop in the city of Iasi today. The coffee chain opened its first shop in the northeast region of Romania in 2014 at Palas Mall Iasi.
The new coffee shop in called Iasi Garden and is located in the Palas Park, on Palas Shopping Street. Unlike the primarily take-away concept of its first store, this cafe has been designed as a destination for customers. “The expansion plans for this year are ambitious, and we believe in the potential of the area and the development of the Moldova region,” said Bogdan Guzga, Starbucks Romania district manager.
Starbucks’ Romanian network now totals 15 locations.
