Started the construction of the largest hotel in Split

A new 4-star hotel is to be built in the Dalmatian city of Split, with construction already underway and due for completion in spring 2019. To be called Amfora Resort, the project will create the city’s largest hotel, which will include 8 floors, a congress hall, 207 rooms, restaurants and a 1,500 sqm fitness center with 3 pools. Over 50 percent of the rooms will offer rooms with sea-facing balconies. The €26m investment also includes a 27-unit apartment building next to the hotel. The project will create new 80 full time jobs and another 40 during the summer season. The investor is a Zagreb company called Plavi safir.
