An affiliate of the Starwood Property Trust has paid $24.39 million for the Worthington Apartments near Lake Worth. Built in 1996, the 300 unit complex at 6274 Pinestead Drive traded for $81,300 per unit. The seller, Tampa-based apartment developer the Wilson Co., built the Worthington Apartments on the 37.6-acre site which features a lake, pool, basketball court and clubhouse. The deal was completed with a $17.34 million, 10 year mortgage provided by HFF with backing from Freddie Mac.
