The Invalidovna complex, a state-owned historical building in Prague 8 Karlín, has been put on sale. The state hopes it could bring in at least CZK 638m through the transaction. The state property office (Úřad pro zastupování státu ve věcech majetkových) launched a tender, in which it will choose bidders for a subsequent auction. Radek Ležatka, spokesman for the State Property Office, explained that the auction will start at the highest price offered in the initial round of the tender. Bids will be accepted till August 8. The 18th century building includes a courtyard and a 10,000 sqm garden.
