Steelcase to invest €24m at Panattoni Park Stříbro

7 May 2014

Steelcase is having a 27,000 sqm production facility worth €24m (CZK 650m) built in Panattoni Park Stříbro near Pilsen. Panattoni will deliver the build-to-suit facility for the global provider of office furniture by autumn. The new factory will create 300 new jobs.

Together with Accolade Group, Panattoni recently secured adjacent land that will enabled the expansion of Panattoni Park Stříbro. “We offer investors completely prepared land where they can start production within six to eight months from signing the contract,” says Milan Kratina, a partner at Accolade Group. In the final phase the park will offer up to 300,000 sqm of warehouse space. Pilsen’s region governor Václav Šlajs says that the region has seen a growing number of investments from new players as well as investors already active in the Czech Republic. He noted also that unemployment rate in his region has fallen for the second consecutive month.
