Steelmin BH will begin ferroalloy production in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina beginning this year. The company’s output will be shipped to steelworks in Italy, Austria and Germany, US and Asia. Among the company’s clients are ArcelorMittal, Duferco, Riva, ThydssenKrupp and Beltrame. Once the new production facility is at full capacity, it will employ more than 300 people. Steelmin invested previously in Gornji Vakuf, a quartz production equipment supplier. This new plant will prepare production line materials for the Jajce plant. This UK investor is one of the biggest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, having previously invested around €16m in the furnace producer Elektrobosna.
