Greystar has tapped Stiles Construction as the general contractor to build a 25-story luxury apartment project in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The project rests on the former site of a Chase Bank location at 790 East Broward Blvd. and the intersection of SE 8thAve. Plans call for a 327 unit 25 story tower consisting of nearly 661,000 square feet which includes a 508-space structured parking garage and a recreational deck featuring an array of amenities. This is Stiles Construction’s second project for Greystar, which purcihased the 790 site from Stiles Corporation for $19.5 million this past May.
“We are very proud to be working with Greystar once again and be a part of another exciting luxury residential project in the Las Olas corridor,” said Tim Moore, president of Stiles Construction. “The Stiles preconstruction team provided input and organization from the earliest stages of this project. The collaboration of everyone involved, including the architect and ownership, helped to produce a stunning, yet efficient design that will add character and versatility to the residential offerings in downtown.”
