Strabag, in partnership with Serbis, has started construction on an industrial park in the city of Bistrita. Industrial Park Bistrita Sud is expected to cost more than €8m. The project received funding through the EU’s Regional Operational Program, which supports the development of the regional and local business environment.
The industrial park will cover 30 ha. The project is expected help increase local economic development, improve living standards and create new jobs, according to the city mayor, Theodor Ovidiu Cretu.
