Strategic Property Partners has hired James Nozar as its new CEO. Nozar, who is currently senior vice president at The JBG Cos. in Washington, D.C., will begin his new job March 1. In his new role, Nozar will oversee all aspects of the business of SPP, including the design, entitlement, programming, construction and delivery of a 6 million square-foot mixed-use development SPP plans for Tampa’s downtown waterfront. Prior to working for The JBG Companies, Nozar worked as a real estate consultant for Ernst & Young and RCLCo. Nozar holds a bachelors degree in building construction and a certificate in city planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
